Pioneer Valley Symphony: Summer Sing: Faure's Requiem with Anthony Ferreira
08/10/2025 in Hadley MA: Join us to sing Gabriel Faure's Requiem, conducted by PVS Assistant Conductor Anthony Ferreira. PVS Summer Sings are open community events, each led by a different conductor, who conduct a sing-and-play-through after taking a little time to workshop tricky sections. Singers don’t need to have performed the work before, but will probably get the most out of the experience if they can sight-read adequately or are familiar with the work. Bring your own score or borrow a copy from the PVS. We invite instrumentalists to join a pick-up chamber orchestra, led by an accompanist. Admission: suggested $20, but pay what you can! No one is turned away due to lack of funds. CONTACT: boxoffice@pvso.org, 413-773-3664.
