Vermont Sings for Peace

Vermont Sings for Peace is an annual concert where five or six Vermont choruses perform short sets and the money raised is given to a peace-related charity, usually one based in Vermont. This September will be the sixth annual concert. Counterpoint is the host ensemble, and Robert De Cormier the presiding spirit. It took place three times in the Burlington Unitarian Church, once at the University of Vermont's Ira Allen Chapel (when Peter Yarrow was a special guest and the beneficiary was Project Respect) and last year at Grace Church in Rutland. The next concert will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 but the venue and choirs have not yet been chosen.
