Appalachian Mountain Club Mountains and Music weekends bring together 80-100 participants of all ages who share a love of classical music and the outdoors.
When/Where: April 26-28, 2013 at Nature's Classroom at Sargent Center, Hancock, NH (there are typically three weekends each year; the next will be October 18–20, 2013).
Musical activities include choral singing, informal chamber music, Friday evening chorus and orchestra rehearsals, and a Saturday evening musicale with chorus and orchestra. Instrumentalists should have sight-reading skill on their instrument; sight-reading ability and/or choral group singing experience are desirable for choral participants. Listeners are welcome.
